Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of Shyam Home Tuition Academy ("the Academy"), located at Gali No. D-1, Subhashnagar, Jwalapur, Haridwar - 249407, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Shyam Home Tuition Academy provides home tutoring services for students from Class 1 to Class 12 across CBSE, ICSE, and Uttarakhand Board curricula. Our services include:

  • One-on-one home tuition for all subjects
  • Group tuition (small batches of 2-4 students)
  • Online tuition via video call
  • Exam preparation coaching (Board exams, JEE, NEET)
  • Subject-specific coaching (Maths, Science, English, etc.)

3. Registration & Demo Class

  • The first demo class is provided free of charge with no obligation.
  • No registration fee or advance payment is required for the demo.
  • After the demo, if you wish to continue, regular monthly fees apply as discussed.
  • Registration is confirmed only after the first monthly fee payment.

4. Fee Structure & Payment

  • Tuition fees are charged on a monthly basis and are due on or before the 5th of each month.
  • Fees vary based on class, number of subjects, and tutoring mode (home/online/hybrid).
  • Late payment beyond 10 days may result in temporary suspension of classes.
  • Fee revision, if any, will be communicated 30 days in advance.
  • Payments can be made via cash, UPI, bank transfer, or through our online payment portal.

5. Tutor Assignment & Replacement

  • We assign tutors based on subject expertise, locality, and student needs.
  • If you are not satisfied with the assigned tutor, you may request a free replacement within the first 3 paid sessions.
  • After 3 sessions, tutor replacement requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • We do not guarantee a specific tutor will be available indefinitely.

6. Class Schedule & Cancellations

  • Class schedule is mutually agreed between the parent/student and the tutor.
  • Classes missed by the student without 4-hour prior notice will be considered taken.
  • If the tutor misses a class, it will be compensated with an extra class.
  • National holidays and mutually agreed leaves are exempted.

7. Student & Parent Responsibilities

  • Provide a suitable study environment at home for the tutor and student.
  • Ensure the student is present and prepared for scheduled classes.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns with the Academy directly.
  • Do not engage our tutors for private arrangements bypassing the Academy.

8. Termination of Services

  • Either party may terminate the tuition arrangement with 15 days written notice.
  • The Academy reserves the right to terminate services in case of non-payment, misconduct, or violation of these terms.
  • No refund will be provided for classes already conducted.

9. Limitation of Liability

Shyam Home Tuition Academy provides tutoring assistance and guidance. We do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or exam outcomes. Academic performance depends on multiple factors including student effort, consistency, and prior knowledge.

10. Intellectual Property

All study materials, worksheets, and content provided by our tutors remain the intellectual property of the Academy and are for the enrolled student's personal use only. Redistribution or commercial use is prohibited.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
